She Won, Part VII: How Stephen Colbert and Rosie O'Donnell Could Save The World
In the face of authoritarianism, comedians, cartoonists, and artists courageously hold the line.
First, we cannot—and must not—conduct the midterms using the current voting equipment. (We’ll break down why in just a moment.)
Before that, we recognize moral clarity and heroic effort when we see it—especially now, when it’s exceedingly rare.
When Rosie O’Donnell asked a simple question about the legitimacy of the 2024 election on Ireland’s Late Late Show, the facade of Trump’s so-called sweep in the swing states began to crack.
Then, last week, Stephen Colbert—another comedian—called out a clear moment of capitulation for what it was. And in response… he was fired.
Which is precisely why Rosie’s response to Donald Trump struck such a chord. In just one sentence, she echoed precisely what so many of us feel in our bones. She wrote:
“Stephen stood up to you, like so many of us have. Not because it was easy—but because it was necessary.”
She’s right.
In this upside-down moment in American history, it’s the comedians, cartoonists, and artists who have had the courage to speak plainly—to sketch the truth, make the statement, and risk the blowback.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party—the one institution with the power and responsibility to stand up for the electorate—is collapsing with 19% approval.
Why? Because we’re not stupid. And we’re done with spineless, comfortable cowardice.
We Heard Them Say the Quiet Parts Out Loud
We heard Donald Trump thank Elon Musk for his “vote-counting computers.”
We heard him say multiple times in 2024 that he didn’t need votes.
We read Musk’s statement, that Trump would’ve lost without his help—and specifically how the House and Senate numbers would look otherwise.
And we read Musk’s own words, as reported in The New York Times, in a text on October 5—just before Starlink’s Direct-to-Cell activation:
“I’m feeling more optimistic after tonight. Tomorrow we unleash the anomaly in the matrix.”
Then, just an hour later:
“This isn’t something on the chessboard, so they’ll be quite surprised. ‘Lasers’ from space.”
This isn’t normal. It isn’t legal. And it certainly isn’t democracy.
A Plea—and a Plan
We know the 2024 election was stolen—and it’s not just a gut feeling or a hunch. We have statistically indefensible data out of the swing states and Texas.
In Pennsylvania alone, Dr. Walter Mebane, Jr., identified 225,000 anomalous ballots—of which 111,088 were classified with high confidence as intentional, malevolent manipulations.
This isn’t speculation. It’s math. It’s forensic. And it’s urgent. We need help spreading the message.
That’s why this moment matters so deeply. Rosie O’Donnell and Stephen Colbert are using their platforms to help inform the American people—and we need them to keep going. More than that, we need others to stand with them.
To keep asking questions—loudly, publicly, fearlessly. Because millions still don’t know the election was stolen. And they need to know.
A stolen election is a rebellion against the Constitution.
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is the remedy—we have grounds to remove this entire illegitimate administration. But the people won’t rise up to demand action if they don’t know the truth about November 5th.
Certification Chaos & Systemic Capture
Trump is now demanding access to voting equipment in nine states for so-called “inspection” purposes. If this feels like déjà vu, it should.
As previously covered, one of the greatest ongoing threats to election integrity is the illegal breach—and unauthorized copying of election software—by Trump’s allies in 2020–2021.
But the danger doesn’t end there—it also lies in who is allowed to certify that compromised equipment. Pro V&V, the lab responsible for certifying approximately 70% of the nation’s election systems, has a documented history of glaring oversight failures.
To make matters worse, Pro V&V is the reincarnation of CIBER, a former VSTL terminated for similar unethical practices. After losing its EAC accreditation, the same actors behind CIBER quietly resurfaced as Pro V&V—new name, same game.
Their federal accreditation lapsed from February 2017 to February 2021—yet they continued certifying systems through the 2018 midterms, the 2020 presidential election, and into 2021.
Recent public records reveal that the EAC uploaded a falsified, unsigned, and unauthenticated accreditation letter for Pro V&V—complete with official metadata—falsely implying valid federal authorization. If a private citizen forged a federal document, it would be a felony. But for Pro V&V and the EAC? Just business as usual.
Weeks before the 2024 election, Pro V&V quietly removed a critical integrity check—ECO 1188—under a de minimis loophole. No public notice. No federal review. The change eliminated the configuration.ini file and disabled a key security safeguard, opening a back door to remote-access vulnerabilities in tabulation systems. In effect, it could have enabled Musk’s “lasers from space” scenario.
Specific voting equipment was never tested or properly certified in at least one Pennsylvania county, ES&S was made aware of this oversight—and yet it was falsely approved by Maryann Dillon, the now-retired Director of Elections in Cambria County.
But there’s more—as detailed in court records and confirmed in the Patrick Christmas report—Pro V&V is deeply entangled with Dominion Voting Systems:
Accepting undisclosed payments from Dominion
Sharing office space in a building owned by a Pro V&V principal
Hosting Dominion employees on-site, with physical access to election equipment
Leasing space to Dominion under a confidential agreement through Pro Cog LLC—a company owned by Pro V&V’s principals (never publicly disclosed)
This is not independence. This is regulatory capture.
Bottom line: We cannot trust the certification process, and we cannot trust the EAC. The voting equipment is compromised—and the manipulated data makes that unmistakably clear.
We have the data. And if the data is not enough—then what decides? The ballots. The paper. The people.
We know who and what we voted for—and we must refuse to accept anything less. “The timeline to challenge has passed” is not an excuse; it’s a shield for corruption.
And this isn’t just about us. The entire world is in harm’s way, and global democracy is under threat—because our legislators refuse to act.
Being forced to accept an unelected candidate and an illegitimate administration is the antithesis of representative democracy.
We are not being governed. We are being ruled.
Then, as we’ve said from the beginning: the voting equipment—the very systems that were breached, exploited, and manipulated to produce this false outcome—must be scrapped. Entirely.
Taking Action
What YOU can do—circulate this Substack series to everyone, ask them to do the same. For now, We the People are functioning as the media.
You can: email, call, and tag the media and influencers—local, international, all of them. Share and post this Substack. Don’t let them continue to ignore the data that’s blatantly in front of us.
You can: Fund the Election Truth Alliance’s lawsuit in Pennsylvania—to get to the bottom of 225,000 anomalous ballots, including the 111,088 intentional, malevolent manipulations.
You can: Fund The Common Coalition campaign—to continue their critical investigations, data analysis, and public education efforts on the 2024 election. Click here to donate.
You can: call, email, and tag state attorneys general and members of Congress on social media. They don’t have to be your own. It only takes one to step up and get this process moving. Remind them: They work for us.
Hold on to your hope. Because again—we don’t need permission to enforce the Constitution. We just need courage.
Want the truth they’re not telling you? For fearless reporting and expert-backed research, read The Common Coalition Report. And if you believe in funding real, independent work—support our all-volunteer team here.
The Greg Palast investigation proved 3+ million Harris votes were suppressed/removed/not counted. This has to be included in this probe.
We have to get our country back from the hands of these corrupt tyrants.
A great piece... I have been supporting ETA financially for several months. We are slowly getting more visibility with the voters - we have to make sure that the voting machines are thoroughly validated by data experts such as ETA and others - and paper verifications for all votes, open to immediate independent analysis in any close vote results.
