How Did 6 Million People Vote In Burke County, Florida—When It Doesn't Exist?

And Why Over 1.5 Million Votes for Harris Disappeared on Election Night

We began this investigation in an attempt to understand why, on Election Night, hundreds of thousands of votes were disappearing in real time across multiple news and media feeds.

What we’ve uncovered so far goes beyond what any of us could have expected.

According to Breaking Points’ newscasters, Burke County, Florida is “where all the old Puerto Ricans live.” Which is fascinating, considering Burke County, FL doesn’t exist.

And then we found Stafford County, PA, Allen County, NC, Oklahoma County, MI, and Hamilton County, GA—none of these counties exist either, yet here we are.

How Could Votes Disappear In Real Time?

Understanding the Process:

This brings us to the Election Management Systems (EMS) and the Election Night Reporting (ENR) process.

On Election Day, every “vote” data record travels through a sequence: first a precinct tabulator, then a central or county tabulator, before ultimately landing in a private vendor’s database—the backend for that vendor’s Election Management System (EMS).

This vendor-controlled database becomes the official “System of Record” and is the source for official Election Night tallies and reports.

Throughout Election Night, the System of Record communicates continuously with privately owned databases that are unregulated, untested, and explicitly outside the scope of state and federal certification standards.

These secondary databases store “copies” of vote records to support Election Night Reporting (ENR).

Access to vote data within any of these private vendor databases is possible if a vendor grants credentials or if the private network between databases is breached.

Then add that data is pushed to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure on election night to facilitate real-time reporting of results, manage high web traffic, and host public-facing election websites.

More than 40 U.S. states use AWS services to store voter registration rolls and ballot data, and to publish live election-night results to the public.

We shouldn’t have to explain why this is problematic.

The Election Night Reporting (ENR) Players

AP VoteCast

• Reporters across the country gather tallies from precincts and county offices.

• They match those numbers to data posted on county and state websites and to electronic data feeds.

• They may also operate a service that scrapes county and state websites for real-time vote totals.

Edison Research / National Election Pool (NEP)

• They “fetch” or “pull” data—via API or data feeds—from multiple sources.

• The frequency of these pulls is undisclosed.

Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ)

• They “fetch” or “pull” data through an API that can run as often as 40 times per minute, retrieving “real-time” results directly from the Systems of Record.

• They operate a mobile private network that connects directly to ES&S and Dominion—highly problematic, given the layers of GOP-aligned fraud we’ve already uncovered within both companies.

In other words: three privately held, unmonitored, and unregulated services deliver real-time tallies to every major media outlet on Election Night.

And DDHQ is the service where we’ve identified the most glaring, unexplained discrepancies across multiple states.

What We Discovered

What appears to be a “Vote Banking System” with DDHQ serving as a staging database:

• On Election Night DDHQ appeared to be holding a large bank of “extra” votes spread across fake counties on Election Night.

• Vote totals decreased for one or more presidential candidates in at least four states in both the DDHQ and NEP/Edison data feeds—suggesting that votes may have been removed from the System of Record during Election Night reporting.

• Votes removed from Harris appear to have been replaced with votes for Trump, potentially sourced from the “vote bank” tied to the nonexistent counties.

Burke County, FL, Stafford County, PA, Allen County, NC, Oklahoma County, MI, and Hamilton County, GA—none of which actually exist.

How We Got Here: Mayhem In Michigan

• At approximately 11:32 p.m., CNN shows Harris’s vote total dropping from 1,024,050 to 989,994.

• Then, at 11:45 p.m., the ABC Detroit affiliate’s livestream shows Harris gaining 1,044,226 votes.

• Then one minute later, losing 989,289 of those votes.

989,289 votes. Poof. Gone.

Across that three-minute window, Trump gains a net 56,329 votes and Harris gains a net 54,837.

But if Harris received the full 1,044,226-vote increase shown on the ABC feed, she would have gained more than enough votes to win the state of Michigan.

Which of course brought us to Wayne County, where between 10:37 p.m. and 11:31 p.m. we observed 37,956 votes disappear from the CNN feed. Because they’re always sabotaging Wayne County, why would 2024 be any different?

If there’s ever a case to be made for paper ballots, it’s Wayne County.

Something Is Wrong In Wisconsin

Unfortunately, Michigan was only the beginning. As we continued digging, we observed sudden drops in Harris’s vote totals across multiple states, along with counties showing inflated turnout that aligned with shifts toward Trump.

• At 10:22 p.m., the DDHQ total in Wisconsin for Harris on NewsNation was 1,537,114 votes.

• At 10:26 p.m., the DDHQ total in Wisconsin for Harris on the Brian Tyler Cohen feed showed 1,550,400 votes.

• This is an increase of 13,286 votes in four minutes, which is expected—vote totals are supposed to go up, not down.

Three minutes later, at 10:29 p.m., the DDHQ total for Harris on NewsNation plummeted to 755,216—a loss of 795,184 votes from the 10:26 p.m. total.

795,184 votes. Poof. Also gone.

This pattern is further corroborated by DDHQ’s estimated “votes remaining” tallies, which were inflated across multiple counties and collectively mirror Trump’s margin of victory in several states.

The Issue With the ‘It Was Just a Mix-Up’ Theory

Could this all just be a “mistake”? We don’t think so.
The Election Night graphic from DDHQ, shown on the Breaking Points livestream and displaying more than six million votes in the fake “Burke County, Florida,” was pulled directly from DDHQ’s Election Night Reporting (ENR) feed. And as noted earlier, we’ve identified four additional fake counties—so far.

If someone, somewhere simply mislabeled graphics and intended to show statewide results for Florida or other states, it’s extremely weird that the labels used were fake county names instead of the word “statewide”—and that this happened not just in Florida but across multiple states.

And more pointedly, in the swing states.

And if the graphic for Florida really was intended to show statewide results at that point in time, then there was a serious discrepancy with the numbers presented—because Florida’s statewide total at that moment was roughly 500,000 votes higher.

Conflict of Interest Is The GOP’s SOP

And then we discovered Scott Tranter—who, according to publicly available records is the majority owner at Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ)—and previously served as Director of Data Science for Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign.

His firm, Øptimus Analytics, was engaged with Rubio’s team from at least 2013. Tranter also participated in an India Global Forum business delegation that traveled to Texas for engagements at Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starbase facility, where Musk hosted the group.

Given DDHQ’s role as an unregulated feeder of real-time vote tallies and the anomalies we uncovered, Tranter’s affiliation with both Rubio and Musk raises legitimate questions about potential conflicts of interest in the election-night reporting pipeline.

And yes, we made a t-shirt! Because it supports our work, and we excel at sarcasm and inserting levity into appalling circumstances.

What We Can Do Together

We’re still digging because this is a new Darth Vader, and believe it or not, there’s more to this story. This is a layer of vulnerability that has gone completely under the radar—until now.
